Meditation meeting at the UK Centre
The founder of The Kriya Yoga Centre is Richard Fish, a practitioner of Kriya Yoga affiliated to the Center For Spiritual Awareness (CSA). Richard was ordained as a Minister and Kriya Yoga Teacher by his guru Roy Eugene Davis in the Summer of 2000 at the CSA headquarters in north-east Georgia, USA. Richard has been associated with this spiritual path for over 25 years, becoming a disciple of Roy Eugene Davis in 1996 . Events The Kriya Yoga Centre offers occasional three day introductory courses on the basic meditation techniques and life-style best suited for would be Kriya Yoga practitioners. A special Kriya Yoga Practitioners Course is also available for those wishing to be Initiated into Kriya Yoga. This gives Individual guidance and tuition in meditation and Kriya Yoga and is offered freely to anyone requesting it. A meditation service is held on the first Sunday of each month from 10.30am to 12 Noon. In addition other meditation services are held – a special Christmas Meditation and a meditation service to commemorate the birth of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Kriya Yoga Weekend Saturday 19th September At The Kriya Yoga Centre, Poplar Farm, Burtle 10.30 to 2 pm The philosophy and practice of Kriya Yoga Kriya Initiation will be offered to suitably prepared applicants. Sunday 20th September 10.30 to 3 pm For Kriya Initiates only Improving your Kriya experience We will be exploring methods and practices which will contribute towards taking your Kriya experience to the next level. A a not-to be-missed opportunity. For details contact Richard (Tel 01278 723170) A library at the Centre contains a wide variety of books by masters and teachers in the Kriya tradition as well as books on meditation, spirituality and Ayurveda. DVDs and CDs published by CSA are also available.
An copy of the booklet "An Easy Guide to Meditation" is available by sending an SAE to the UK Kriya Yoga Centre. A package of free introductory literature is available from the Center for Spiritual Awareness in Georgia USA (www. csa-davis.org). For anyone interested in pursuing Kriya Yoga, meditation or other related spiritual practices Richard also offers his 35 years of experience as a Vedic Astrologer. Consultations are given in person rather than through the post. The focus of a reading is on greater self-understanding rather than on predictive astrology. In order to receive a reading you will need to know your time of birth with some accuracy.
